from the first moment she felt his arms slid under her her features scrunched
up, she found this very uncomfortable. she hated people touching her and she
was very uncomfortable with people holding her. how could she have been so
stupid to not heard the different between animal and a man. in a way she was
happy she was in the one that got hurt and not him.
she didn’t look up to him, she kept her eyes on everything else ; she winces
every now and then because of the pain of her ankle.❝—— here will be fine.❞
it wasn’t her normal spot but she knew where she was, she didn’t want to
explain to him where to go.

The walk in silence did not bother him, and meantime he tried his best
not to lose his balance on the underbrush knotting over the landscape
and the thick, upraised roots of the trees, or even the sudden sloping that
had him stepping a little harder than usual back to the ground as if he had
missed a step on a flight of stairs.
He stopped when she spoke, looking around the landscape once before
setting her down against a tree. Taking the bow and quiver from her, he
concealed them between a tree and a dense shrub that seemed to hug it.
“…is this alright?"
