Leo, nineteen at this point, has been in Nivera’s captivity for a month…he knows nothing of his family line, but she assumes he’s just a great liar and continues to push him to try to spill information. He did not even know he was a warlock until some time prior and even then he did not want to look into it, only getting the occasional magic spurts and doing odd things out of his control. She now holds him in her torturing chamber.
When he was captured by Nivera…she tried to suppress or wipe out as much of his warlock side as she could. Using him as a punching bag to let out all her anger towards his race. When his birthday came about, Nivera took a different path to her daily session with the warlock.
